Membership of the club is currently at its maximum.  As such the club is unable to accept new members at present.

The Down Danderers Rambling Club was founded in 1989 and we are based at Ballynahinch in the heart of Down . This is a very active club with a preponderance of women walkers. Down Danderers is a friendly welcoming group with a huge reservoir of knowledge on walking in Co.Down. Groups of 30 members and upwards are frequent on midweek walks, and during summer months numbers have exceeded 60.

Monday Walks take place on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month throughout the year , these walks are 5 and 6 miles in length and the walkers are predominantly retired. Tuesday Evening Walks are arranged during the months April to early September, these walks vary in length from 3 to 7 miles and attract large numbers. Saturday walks are held throughout the year on the 1st, 3rd or (5th) Saturday of each month . They vary in length from eight miles in winter to twelve miles in summer, numbers for these walks are usually smaller.
