Belfast Walking Club celebrates 30 years of walking

Posted on January 10th, 2014 · Posted in Latest News

Last year Belfast walking club celebrated 30 years of walking . The Club was formed in July 1983 with the following aims:

To provide a programme of organised walks.
To secure and maintain the right to walk in the countryside, on public paths, mountain tracks and open moorland.
To encourage recreational walking and the appreciation of the countryside.
To help protect the natural beauty from despoilation.

Whilst still one of the smallest  clubs within the UFRC , it is encouraging that even after 30 years we are going strong .
We look forward to the next 30 .Happy walking !!!
