Walkers Learn Essential Rescue & Emergency Care Skills

On Saturday 20th February 2016 a group of enthusiastic UFRC Members and Volunteer Rangers attended a 1 day Rescue & Emergency Care (REC) course in Antrim Castle Gardens.

This 1 day course trained attendees in Emergency Life Support which equipped them with the vital skills needed to ensure safe walks when out with their groups.

Claire Overend, Active Clubs Coordinator for UFRC & Walking In Your Community commented “It was great to see so many attend this Rescue & Emergency Care Course in Antrim. It is a highly enjoyable and relaxed day leaving attendees feeling confident and better equipped for walking with their groups.
